I just got finished with the longest copying job ever. It took me 3 hours to do all the stuff my boss wanted copied and put into packets. Its kinda nice to be able to space out and not think at work. I can practice music in my head, think about what will happen on the next episode of Survivor or Lost, or talk to myself. Just kidding about that last one, I don't really talk to myself (out loud at least).
So, when I got to work this morning I was checking my e-mail and lo and behold...I have randomly received "Graduate University Grant" one month before I graduate. I love it when money just drops out of the sky like that! It would have been nice to have gotten it earlier and not taken out as much loans, but I'll take money any way I can get it. Yipee skipee!
Do you ever look at people when you are driving? I know you should watch the road, but sometimes you are just curious what is going on in the car next to you. Well, the other day I was looking at this car in front of me and this guy is going pretty slow and taking on the phone. I was like, "come on dude, get off the phone and drive!" So as I'm about to pass him, I look at him, ready to give him a mean look (I'm not a very nice person when I drive, sorry :)) and I realize, he's not talking on his cell phone. He is talking on his BANANA phone. This guy was literally talking into a banana, having quite an animated conversation. I was worried for my safety and this dude's sanity, so I quickly go to get ahead of him when I see a little four year old girl in the back seat holding her banana phone and laughing really hard. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. What a cool dad. So, that is my funny commuter story of the day. I have other ones, but they'll have to wait. They are usually better when I take the bus, you never know what you are going to see then!
