Visual Display (not picture from actual event)
Hello everyone. So, it seems my funny stories usually involve Madelyn, bodily fluids and her dear old Dad. (Ha!) Yesterday we were eating dinner with my parents and towards the end, Paul put Madelyn on his shoulders (see above photo for visual aid). He has done this many times without any negative results... Daddy forgot that Madelyn had just eaten and has a habit of spitting up if played with too much. Kinda like the don't go swimming for 30 minutes rule. Well, lo and behold, she is sitting up there and this long drooly throwup comes sliming down onto Daddy's head, ear, neck and shirt. This was right after we told him NOT to have her up there, so we were laughing hysterically and he is pleading with me to help him get cleaned up. Oh man, I haven't laughed that hard since his "Madelyn's Midnight Adventures" (see April blogs)
OK, lesson to Daddy's. Give your baby some down time before playing too much. You might just end up getting slimed. hehe
