Two different stories, two different boys.
So, I am going to a mom's bible study on Thursdays (I have been once, and am supposed to be there right now, but Madelyn was throwing a fit, so no go...) Anyway, all the mom's had all of their boys there and then there was Maddy. This little guy's name is Xavier and he just loved touching her face and her hair, sooo gentle. Then he started hugging her and grabbing her and with his mama's help pulled her onto his lap. Haha! Paul was not thrilled about this photos, but I thought it was the cutest thing ever. (He wants teenage yrs and boy issues to stay far far away). So, that was our first adventure with a boy liking her.
Play time with Elijah!
He too wanted to touch Madelyn's face. How funny! Maddy got very upset when he cried and when he was under a blanket eating, she thought it was time for peek-a-boo. uh-oh! :) When Amy (Elijah's mama) was giving him raspberries and making monster noises Madelyn flipped out and started screaming. I had to take her out of the room to calm her down. Weirdness. The funny thing is, we do that to her all the time, but seeing it done to another baby was very scary for her I guess.
Here's the best part of our play date. Elijah was having some spit-up issues and I was holding for a little bit and the minute I turned him toward me he projectile vomited all over me! I have never seen that much milky-puke come out of a baby. (side note: Madelyn doesn't like it when I laugh really hard, it scares her and makes her cry) so, Amy and I start laughing hysterically, because what else are you going to do? Then we have Elijah crying because he doesn't feel good, Madelyn screaming because Mommy is holding a crying baby and laughing her head off and the two mom's almost peeing our pants because it is so funny and ridiculous. I felt like we should have been on a TV sitcom. Anyway, babies got calmed down, I changed shirts and it was a nice day. Thought you all would like our story.
I am excited for the adventures that Madelyn and Wyatt will have (Kurt and Krista's baby boy). He isn't quite playing age yet, but I think I will have fun stories to share as the months go by. Maddy doesn't have any local girlfriends! Come on ladies, lets see what we can do about that! Boys are fun too though, :)

I wish that we lived closer together so that Meredith could play with Maddy more. WE don't have any local playmates really except for our two classes we go to. We had so much fun with you guys on Wednesday hopefully we can do it again soon.
I'm just gonna put this out there, as a mother of 4 boys...but you were drinking the wrong water to get a girl...drink the right water and you too can have a boy! It was nice to have you at the bible study last week...nice to have a little girl around. Missed you both today...maybe next week!
