Workin' Mama

So thanks to answered prayers and an awesome friend who got me hooked up with Oldcastle Precast about 2 1/2 years ago, I have been working 40 hrs a week the past three weeks! I am filling in as a receptionist/office assistant while they are hiring some new employees. I am finally getting the hang of the phones and all of the different tasks I do all day. Since they make concrete products some of the callers just assume I know the name/design of the product they want and how to help them. Yikes! I am getting pretty good at it though. So I probably only have 1 or 2 weeks left which is great for the side of me that misses Maddy, but at the same time it is a little frustrating to learn all of this stuff and then all of a sudden be done. I really like the people in the office too, they are funny and easy to work with.

It is getting really hard for me on the Mommy side of things. I really miss Madelyn and she is learning things without me, like how to take off her coat on her own. :( She also says "bib" now when I ask her to get it. Every night we snuggle in her room and she puts her head on my shoulder while we pray and sing bedtime songs and talk. I ask her if she is sleepy and ready for bed and she nods and then kisses me. It is the best time of the day!
