Santa and more

As you can see Santa was not a big hit for Maddy this year. It was her first time and she actually thought he looked cool and seemed ok with the idea until she realized Mommy was going to drop her on his lap and run away!! Now, I have been going back and forth about Santa and Maddy because as a child I didn't like Santa and never believed in him, so why make my daughter believe in him? But Paul is adamant that he have that as a part of her childhood, so he wins on this one. I can honestly say that she didn't get any "scared of Santa" vibes from me that day though because I was doing my best to be very positive and excited. O well, we will try again next year!

On to other news: Paul and I are going to have another baby! Most of you reading this probably already know this exciting news. We are due July 16th. 12 days after my birthday... If the baby is healthy by July 4th and ready to be born, that would be fun to share b-days, it is my grandma's birthday too! Today was a fun day because we got to see the baby on an ultrasound and hear its heartbeat. The baby looks healthy and so do I, so that is all really great news.
