In other news, we also have been in the middle of what King5 news is calling "December Freeze" with snow, temperatures in the teens, and in Enumclaw 40 mph winds which blew all the snow away into these huge banks of snow. It looked like the sand dunes. Kinda cool to see, but with an inch of ice on the side roads, a little scary. Tonight we are in for more snow and then it should stay cold for another few days. Maybe it will snow on Christmas. That would be nice. needless to say, this has been interesting for me to drive to Seattle everyday to sing. The main roads turn out to be fine, but I still have to give myself tons of extra time to get there in case there are stupid people and accidents. so, I just bring my bookclub book with me and read while I wait for the rest of my group to arrive. here are some pictures of the snow at our place.
