We got to go to the ultrasound people today, hooray! We haven't see pictures of our baby since week 20, which was almost 14 weeks ago. How time flies. She is very healthy, strong heart and pretty big for her "age". But, they said that isn't bad, it is better to weigh a pound more than the average baby than be underweight. I am just hoping she doesn't get so big that I never want to have kids again. (haha) Just kidding, we definitely want to have 2 kids, it will just be interesting to see what happens in the next 6 weeks. So, currently she is around 6 lbs. (a little under, and there is a margin of error of a half a pound, so that is good). Here are a few pictures that I thought you all would like to see, hope I dont' bore you. :)
Here is one of Madelyn's feet. It is the at the top center of the pictures if it is hard for you to see it. Her heel is on the left side of the picture and her 5 cute little toes are on the right side of the picture
This picture is a little weird, and kinda hard to see what we are looking at. It is a straight on shot of her face, with her hand close to her face. So, the head is the upper right to middle object. You can make out two dark holes that are her eye sockets (remember this is an ultrasound and you dont' really see features in this one. then the nose is pretty much dead center, and her mouth is below that. If we turned this picture counter-clockwise we would have a normal picture of her with her head at the top and her hand at the bottom. Her hand is balled up just under her chin. Like I said, a little weird picture, but still cute. Here is the coolest one...

This is our first three dimensional view of our precious baby girl. Obviously that picture is the big one on the left. The other three on the right are the shots that they compiled to get this picture. It is crazy to see her face. She is sucking on her hand in this picture, which is so crazy to see. Her little nose is adorable, oh my goodness.

This is the only shot we could get of her face because of her position, but the good news is she is right where she needs to be for delivery, and she will most likely stay in this spot until that time. Our midwife says she hasn't been turning around at all. Sometimes I feel her shift from the right side of my belly to the left, but that is about it. For the most part she kicks me in my ribs on the right side, and they are pretty sore. Speaking of sore, I ran into my halfway open door in the middle of the night on my way to the bathroom. Pretty scary and it hurt really bad. Luckily it got my left side (chest/armpit/leg/foot) and avoided the sacred belly. :) I have never seen Paul wake up and spring out of bed faster than that. He is going to be the best daddy, he is already the best hubbie.
O yea, and he bought me a recliner. That makes him the bestest of the best. :) Thanks hun!
