New Arrival is HERE!!!!

Well, this is going to be an interesting blog because this is NOT Elizabeth. This is the happy Daddy writing this one. Mommy is tired and feeding Madelyn. What an amazing journey we have just been through. For all of you who have been on this similar journey before, you know what I am speaking of. What an awesome miracle to watch the woman you love bring your child into this world. WOW!. That's all I can really say, is WOW. Since then we have been visited by friends and family and we are on orders to stay inside for at least 5 days to help Mom recover. That's great news for us, we get to spend time with our little miracle and see how something we created now interacts with us and the world around her. I am such a geek.

For all of you who aren't in the family and do not know all of the details, here they are. Madelyn Joy Scott was born on April 16th at 4:05 am, weighing 8lbs 2 oz, and a length of 20 inches. Mom and baby are doing amazing after a miraculous water birth in our home with our amazing midwife Ann and her birth assistant Alyssa.

If you want more pics than what you are about to see, then visit Paul's Myspace account. He has the most recent and update pics almost minute by minute. Elizabeth will post more later.
Enjoy

My name is Anita Paulson and I go to church with you guys (10:30 service) and I just want to say Congratulations to you guys on your little baby girl! Ms. Madelyn looks beautiful and I LOVE her wonderful head of hair! And I am LOVING the homebirth and water birth! What a way to bring a babe into the world! Take care and I'm bringing dinner to you guys on Thursday I believe (Tammy Rismiller has the list going, so I'm sure you'll get a hard copy soon) so I'll get to peek at your bundle of joy (I have all boys so girls are just plain old fun!) Take care Paul, Elizabeth and Madelyn!
