Paul has a lot of fun making Madelyn talk. I thought it was funny how she fell asleep while he was bugging her. This video was probably taken when she was a week old, it just takes us a while to get everything updated. Usually the weekends are best for us. I survived my first complete week of teaching lessons (last week about half of my studio either forgot their lesson or canceled). I was pretty tired by Thursday, but that happened to be when Madelyn gave me a 7 hour night of sleep (not all at once of course, those days are far far away).

For someone who treasured their sleep as much as me, I am surprised at how well I am doing without it. I get a little selfish in the morning though, and I bring her to bed with me when she gets hungry and I sleep while she eats. :) That gives me at least 20 minutes of sleep, and she usually falls asleep again too, so that might be a whole hour! Yipee. The simple things in life make me happy.

This weekend should be nice. I am getting a massage today, then getting my hair cut and colored tomorrow. That will be the most I have been away from Madelyn ever! On Sunday we are heading out to Granny and Grandad's house (Paul's parents) where we will have a family BBQ, yum yum. It will be fun to see Bryan and Madelyn together. I'm so glad she has cousins to play with! I have a few cute pictures of Bryan holding and kissing her, I will put those up here this weekend. Stay tuned!
