Clearly, Madelyn has more carrots on her than IN her! She makes a really funny face when I try to give them to her, so I just let her play with it and thought she might get used to the idea of carrots that way... What fun! Good thing bath time is after dinner time.
Now we have peas. Look at how clean her face is. (compared to carrots, of course).
Give me more peas please!
she also likes to feed herself, I just have to make sure she doesn't jam the spoon too far back!
I am so glad that she will eat peas. After the bad carrot reaction I thought maybe she wouldn't ever want any veggies, but peas win! Next we will try squash I think, and slowly bring back the carrots. I love our babyfood maker, it rocks. I spent $2.50 on a big bag of peas and it will feed her for 2 weeks probably! Compared to almost $1 for one serving of baby food in a jar. No thank you!
