Third Trimester-Phew!

Well folks, we are officially in the third trimester. Translation: less than 3 months to go! Ahhh! Things are getting exciting and scary. Madelyn is now 15 inches long and should be weighing around 2 and a half pounds. Mommy is expected to gain an average of 11 pounds in the next three months (boo). She is moving around so much, and has reached my ribs now. I get little surprise jabs and kicks on my lower ribs that feel very strange. Its like she is using them to stretch against. I am getting weekly massages now (thank goodness that our wonderful insurance covers unlimited massages!). During today's massage she was moving so much it was hard to relax, but it still put a smile on my face. Paul and I are so excited to meet our little girl!

I am going into see our midwife next week to do the gestational diabetes test and some other blood work to make sure I still am a "low risk" pregnancy. Things are looking good though. I have developed RLS (also known as Restless Leg Syndrome) and it is the weirdest feeling. I only get it when I am trying to fall asleep and I can't keep my legs still. My massage therapist said there is a certain muscle (don't ask me which one) that she can work on to help relieve symptoms, but not until I've had the baby and am all healed up...bummer. I used to laugh at the RLS commercials, but now I am identifying with them, :) sorry for making fun of you Mandy (Olson) I believe you now!

OK, my wonderfully hard working hubbie just came home from church choir rehearsal so we are going to snuggle and watch TV. Yea!!

OOOh! RLS is the worst! I haven't gotten it yet this time, and hope it'll stay away. Taylor would make fun of me all the time, but it is super annoying.
And lucky girl getting massages! Taylor got me one that I want to use in the next couple weeks, but only ONE. I'm so jealous!

The extra nice thing about the massage situation is that I don't have to pay my co-pay because I am giving the massage therapist's son lessons. I love small towns, you get to do barter for services. Its great!
