Hi all! Today marks week 15 for us. (It's funny how time is now measured by Wednesday's, since that is when we have our shift from week to week with my baby progress) I usually get a cool email updating me about all the neat things that "baby" is doing, but I haven't gotten that email yet today, so I thought I would write anyway. I think the baby is about the size of an apple now. But then you have to think...ok is this a Honeycrisp apple on hormones? Or just a red delicious baby apple. I'm not quite sure, but it is much bigger than a gummi bear! How far we have come, wow. Paul and I were just marveling at the thought that in 6/7 months a human being that we created is going to be apart of our family. It is an amazing thing to think about. I am starting to show a little more and will take an updated "profile" shot, although I am not sure I will share my starting out point with all of you. I wasn't too excited about how I already looked like I had a bun in the oven WAY early on.
I have decided that my stomach doesn't like anything touching it, pushing on it or restricting it (like too tight pants) so I have fully given in to the ever-comfortable maternity pant. Man, I wish I had known how comfy these were. And you can get really cute ones that don't look stupid, as long as you can keep the blue band from showing. Anyway, back to the stomach/abdominal area. I get this weird yucky feeling when I have pressure on my stomach (like my fat cat sitting on me, too tight pants waistband, or even sadly, Paul putting his head on my belly to say hi to baby) So, I am hoping this will pass, it is probably just the fact that my internal organs are all pushing up and are way closer to my skin then every before, makes for an unhappy Lizzy. Paul is getting annoyed with my anti-pressure thing, so I have to suck it up so he can have baby time when he gets home from work. He is going to be such a great daddy. I can't wait to see him become an awesome father. Well, no pictures this week. Will try to take some soon. Toodles!
